In 1999, after years of early experimentation at Dutch raves, Freaky Ice became the world's first commercially produced and distributed frozen alcohol popsicle. What began as one man's hands-on idea grew into a breakthrough format built for the energy, heat, and scale of nightlife.
Hank Sweep partnered with university chemists for the formulation and engineers for the single-serve sachet. Together, they created a shelf-stable product designed to ship at room temperature, freeze at its destination, and deliver a consistently smooth frozen experience without blenders or specialized machines.
